A Mile A Day
A mile a day keeps the doctor away! Walk a mile every day of the Let's Walk Festival. That's about 2000 steps, and 20 - 30 minutes of walking. Less if you walk briskly!

Walk Accumulator Challenge
Increase the length of the walk each day of the challenge by 500 steps of 5 minutes. Why not start with a walk of 10 minutes or about 1000 steps. Day 2 would be 15 minutes or 1500 steps and Day 3, 20 minutes and 2000 steps. So on your 10th accumulated walk of the Let's Walk Festival fortnight you'll end up walking 5500 steps, 2.75 miles and walking for an hour.

Can you do some of your steps at a brisker pace? Walking briskly is great for your heart, lungs, circulatory system as well as your muscles, joints and generating that feel good factor! Try it 3 times over the fortnight.

Why not try a longer weekend walk? Take the family out? Meet up with friends for a socially distant chat. Explore somewhere new or discover something closer to home. There are two weekends during the Festival. Try to do a 3 mile walk each weekend.
